Tyler possesses the compassion, experience, and legal knowledge you can expect from Iowa’s largest group of attorneys practicing in family law. Joining his colleagues at Babich Goldman, P.C. was inevitable after Tyler decided early in his college career that becoming a lawyer was the best way for him to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
As a lifelong Iowan, Tyler attended Drake University, graduating magna cum laude, in 2011. He was awarded the Robert D. Blue Scholarship Award for his literary and scholastic ability and exhibiting the qualities of truth, courage, fellowship, and character. In recognition for his efforts to help others – the young, the disabled, and the elderly – he was named the Iowa Health Care Association Volunteer of the Year and received the State of Iowa Youth Shining Star Award from Governor Thomas Vilsack.
Tyler received his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2014, where he received the prestigious Don Schallau Memorial Scholarship for clinical law excellence in representing clients living with mental illness.
While working as a student attorney volunteer, Tyler advised clients from diverse backgrounds, guiding them through state laws and procedures as they filed for divorce or dealt with other family law issues.
Prior to joining Babich Goldman, P.C. as an associate attorney, Tyler clerked for the firm. During his clerkship, he worked on criminal and divorce cases, custody, international custody, and high net worth marital property settlements and court trials.
Outside the office, Tyler remains deeply engaged in his community, helping those in need. He also spends time reading up on current affairs or taking in the cultural scene with friends in his adopted hometown of Des Moines.
Working for the best outcomes, Tyler is available to diligently represent your interests in all family law matters, so that you can meet the future with confidence and peace of mind.
