“We work with good people who are going through the worst of times. We care deeply about our clients, and we do what we can to achieve the results that they deserve.”

Leadership in and out of the courtroom

Stacey Warren is a shareholder of Babich Goldman with 16 years of experience in trial and settlement of complex family law matters, including high-conflict custody cases. She has a sensitive understanding of the complexities of various custodial arrangements and the co-parenting issues that follow a dissolution or modification action. Stacey focuses her practice primarily in Family Law, and she represents men and women from all walks of life. Stacey takes pride in providing her clients with comprehensive service—working cooperatively with them to ensure that they understand the process and are comfortable with the paths that they choose to take.

Stacey is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. To be represented by a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers is to be represented by a leading practitioner in the field of family law. The more than 1,600 AAML Fellows across the United States are generally recognized by judges and attorneys as preeminent family law practitioners with a high level of knowledge, skill and integrity.
Stacey is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, Polk County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is a longtime member of the ISBA's Family Law Section Legislative Committee and has been active in providing comment and analysis on legislation affecting family law matters in the State of Iowa. She has attended the ABA Family Law School Trial Advocacy Institute.

In addition to her practice, Stacey is an active leader in the community and a committed volunteer. For her achievements, leadership and community involvement, Stacey was honored as one of the Des Moines Business Record’s "Forty Under 40," Class of 2009.

Stacey was born in LaGrange, Illinois, and was raised in West Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated with honors from the University of Kansas in 1991 and from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1993.
